With all the commotion of Countdown Jordan packages and quickstrike releases a lot of people have forgotten about the most anticipated release outside of Jordan brand. This summer it is confirmed the Air Pippen will retro in its fame "bred" colorway. The 1996 signature shoe has had me on my toes these past months considering a friend of mine owns a pair and seeing them once a month in school irks me of how the retro will look. Even though the retro will drop he will most likely sell his pair on account of how he hates retros. It is sad to hear this because the retro surprisingly looks very close to original and I'm upset he wore them 10x times speaking ill be the one taking those off his hands.

Down With M.O.B

Now a days everyone has been spotted to own a blog and despite my actions on it, blogger has come along way. Colette founder Sarah, has been writing for The New York Times, The Moment blog forever and is now collaborating with something else outside the world of journalism. The new collaboration from Reebok, Colette, and obviously Married To The Mob. The Reebok freestyle contains the all over print of the lipstick lips as well as a translucent red sole revealing the fame MOB logo over sized on both sneakers. No release date has been set on the sneakers but is definitely a good look for women in street wear. I speak of this considering it is the third women's brand to collaborate with a sneaker company after Claw Money with Nike and Mama with Adidas.

Alife Bar

A lot of us have been wondering why have we seen numerous alife teasers this year and I have just one suggestion. News have been circling around of a second Alife boutique in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, New York. The location has not been confirmed but said to be close to the Rivington shop but way diverse in design. Stay tuned to Alife and the many more surprises they have in store.

The street brand with Mighty Mouse and Ghostface by there side is back this Spring/Summer with a new look book and new ideas. Also premiering this season are fitted caps with under brim text and new cuts and sews along with a new logo. The new women's tee shirt also shows subtle pattern pieces as well.

I SPY With My Little Eye

For those of you who may not remember the wordless strip of comics that released in the 60's after the Cold War, this is Spy vs. Spy. A comic strip that came in black and white and contained no words but Morse code. The strip was very popular in those days and still is today for its take on the Cold War and the man that created it. But for related news it is the second collaboration pack we have seen this year for sneakers. Although the first was with puma and contained a clear sole revealing the two characters I'd have to say this months release is much more anticipated. Teaming up with New Balance the MT580 has been blown up into two different pairs, one white and one black. Each pair consist of the spies weapon and a striped inner lining with red accents. This will be my first New Balance buy and hopefully not the last we see of collaborations with Spy vs. Spy.

ONLINE OPEN

The time has come ladies and gentleman, Supreme has just opened there online web store for Spring/Summer 08. Not even a day later the famous Kermit tee shirts shot by photographer Terry Richardson has been soled out. For the people who have been looking for this tee shirt I suggest hitting up Lafayette for a restock later this month. The skate decks however are still pending folks!

Time To Count...down

In the past recent months it has been said there are dieing Jordan fans out there disappointed with the result of the 23. I too can complain with the last model but instead am looking forward to further releases starting with this month. It is again that time to witness the release of the next Countdown Package from Jordan brand. This month we again will receive "BRED" colorways and an altered favorite. The 9's and Last Shot 14's. Obviously for those who remember the Last Shots when the retro premiered in December of 2005 they do not resemble these, which is a prime example of Jordan at its best. (SMH) The package is due this Saturday and although they are not my favorite pairs it is just one package that is a must for all Air Jordan lovers. For those who don't know this package will consist of the same box as the first and also will cost the same as well. Check your local DMP retailers for more information.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BACA

Yea so I turned 18 this past week...its whatever. But this week I met the legendary PETE ROCK and BLACK THOUGHT!!! ME and homeboy BIG L went to the PETE ROCK concert last Thursday and it was AMAZING. Not to mention we were right next to the stage i basically shook all of the artists hand but that nothing new cause every concert I go to I always manage to get to the front. Yea it was something i won't forget for A LONG LONG TIME.....and not to mention the drunk ass white girls that made my night even better...lol

I just can't wait til summer cause I'm dedicating this summer to CONCERTS, ROAD TRIPS, BEER, BUD, AND BEAUTIFUL WOMEN WITH BIG HAIR.......

What A Supreme Being

Well to mark off a new month news that I too never thought I'd be delivering. Tomorrow, March 3rd, will mark the opening of Supreme's premiere line and photos with the famous Muppet "Kermit" wearing Supreme. The photos are taken by Terry Richardson and a well thought, interesting concept if you don't ask me. Although it is not daily you see me in a Supreme crewneck or fitted the brand does gain my respect for its years in streetwear and collaborations with brands across the world. If you are reading and are located in Colette, Paris I advise you to visit the exhibition.
