After Many Moons (DOTM-January)

For my Air Jordan fans and OG Air Jordans fans this is a topic I have been meaning to speak on since first word of these packages in late 2007. The Countdown packages of 2008 are here and will be coming once a month until 2009, excluding February for the release of the 23. The start of these packages will be the 13 and 10 and is dated release this Saturday, the 19th. I have yet seen the actual models of the two but from information taken in I can tell you the concept Michael is putting out. 2 original colorway jordans that equivocate to the number 23(10+13=23). One model is said to be a similar retro minus different leathers and materials due to better technology and the other retro'd with a 2008 twist. An example of this is the X's dropping this Saturday retro'd after the shadows that released in 1994. The original model held no #23 on the side nor is the suede as (SHADOWY) as the OG's. Due to this change I personally will be riding through to FC to consign my pair of X's but thank god for He Got Game and the XIII!

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Yes it is finally 2008, and this is yet to be the end but only the beginning of my writing for ITSMASSVIE. 2008 is said to be the year for change and positive thinking and this is ALL I hope to take in this year. 2007 has been very troubling for most and others, a time to remember. Well I can not say which side I fall into because this year cannot be just based on that, but the 30Th was indeed a date to mark for 2007. On this day I went to see Talib Kweli at Highline Ballroom and was indeed more than what I expected. I prayed the whole night for appearances from Common, Mos Def or even Hi-Tek but was disappointed in the end. Although I was ashamed of no other artist I was very surprised at Jean Grae's performance. Jean Grae is first lady of Blacksmith records, talib signature record label, and tore the house down in her segment! Talib also showed the Blackstar fans love with tracks and did not let me down when resiting, "The Blast". I have no complaints of the show and actually wouldn't mind seeing Jean Grae again in the near future. Shouts out to ARIELLE for the tickets and ROME for Hip Hop trivia!

P.S ANY NEWS ON THE WU-TANG CONCERT! LET ME KNOW
