Chilly Friday

Yo so my man Jet is gone for a while to SF (San Fransisco)and I promised him I would keep the blog updated so here I am! Yesterday was a chill ass Friday filled adventures and all that other good shit. I started off by going to school(LAME)..but then said fuck it and left...Jet and Big L were at Dee's so we met up at the train station soon after. Jet was with his shorty (shout outs to Slim) and we were off. I was dissapointed because no one in JERSEY had any "candy" if u know wat I mean but it was taken care of when we arrived to LES. Same ol' same ol'. I copped two tee's, Jet copped sneaks and a tee, and Big L copped a tee too. As time passed by, fast as hell, before I knew it we were on our way back. BUT ON THE WAY BACK WAS WHERE THE GOOD STUFF BEGAN!!! lets just says we an adventure in front of the riverside..NICE! Big L was gone, Jet was chill, and I was nice. But afterwards I go the meanest headache which ruined my night. BUT FUCK MY SOBB STORY OVERALL IT WAS CHILL.

DESPITE DESPISE

Most will or can agree with me when I say, A Bathing Ape was and still is the most hyped brand of our decade. With that said and previous post to prove, I am not a big fan of the apparel but once can admit to once being a customer of the Greene street boutique. There sneakers are always thought of as the mimic of the Air Force 1, with a star and lighting bolt, but also is said to be the evolution prodigy of the model. I do not agree with neither statement but can only say the new models Ive seen has made me shift my opinion on the brand. I will not further promote the brand by saying this but this winter season might be a come up for the bape.

DEMER SHOW

Have you ever traveled the highway in your local area and noticed the writings on the wall and the names they represent? For the fans and writers of Graffiti this is something for you. Many of you graff artist and fans should of at least heard of Demer, if you have not seen him up in New Jersey. Well last night he had a show where artist from all over came through to show love to the man and share black books with crews. The small comic shop held grails on its walls of writers you've probably dream to meet and little did you know they were in the room next to you. WR was in the building and I can proudly say represented for the dirty Jerz in the best way. The night was nearly over when opposing crews came in buffing pieces on the wall and after getting kicked out by Demer himself caught the illest WR ass whopping ever! After all the fun was over it seemed everything went down hill, where a long story cut short, we ended up in the hail walking back home. I wouldn't take anything back except the police ticket and not just going back to the BX. Lionel I am praying for you and to the passaic homeys, WADDUP!

Dont Call It A Comeback

While I just mentioned news of no further retro's from Air Jordan this doesn't mean us sneaker heads will have anything else to choose from next year. Patrick Ewing was one of the most underrated basketball players of his time. A good percentage of why this is so is Michael Jordan. They both were shining at the same time and as most know of the Air Jordan history only some know of Ewing's legacy. Most know of Michael's close leave from Nike and the near decline of Air Jordan but thanks to the saviour Tinker Hatfield this did not come. Well Patrick did so and left Adidas to form his own company brand footwear and did such! For the fans of my man Pat HERE IS GOOD NEWS FOR YOU. The signature Ewing shoe will be retroed! There is no word on a 07 release but I can guarantee 2008. The blue suede/chocolate brown colourway makes me hate all I have to show is teaser pics and I wanna see more. Well as soon as I find out you will but stay on the look out.

SO MUCH FOR THE NEXT 20 DAYS

OKAY OKAY, you have again caught me slipping with my post and for this I apologize readers. But Ive just gotten a new computer and due to virus's and more downloads I was enable to keep up. Well today is Friday and officially a week before I leave to San Fransisco. Still excited and anticipated for my trip the only thing that has been on my mind is the Playoff 8 release. The Air Jordan is in the fame bred colorway and supposedly said to be the last retro Jordan for a long time. I hope there is a Footaction or Footlocker close to the Union Square area otherwise I just might be screwed for this release! I think it is safe to call it the DROP OF THE MONTH FOR DECEMBER. Crush of the month soon...

20 Days Until SF

Some of you might have already heard of the man himself, Benny Gold but for those who haven't I am hear to tell you. He is from SF and spend most of his time skating, biking and coming up with the best collaborations San Fransisco brands are known for. Also a big part of the Huf team, Gold has just recently finished up with another collaboration with Roughneck Hardware. The skateboard bolt brand has always been fans of Golds work and here shows how they pay the respect. The set of bolts is complete with 1 gold plated bolt and 8 gold nuts. 21 Days Until SF

I assume a lot of people are looking forward to Christmas, the long week break, the presents and such that come with the occasion but this year I am not. My only anticipation for December is Playoff Air Jordan 8's, More information on Countdown packages in 08'and my vacation week to San Fransisco. Well since so I have created, 21 days until SF. I will post everyday a related or containing topic on San Fransisco. Most will probably be about Huf but I will try to steer away from just that and share economic topics as well. Today new stock of Winter/Fall 07 at HUF. Huf too has insisted on more cut and sew in there line this winter and with these results I am happy they did so. Along with more New Era fitted caps that also introduces more colourways of the 3m hat done earlier this season. In today, gone tomorrow. Lets just hope I can get my hands on some of these goods come the 22nd.
