The inner footbed has been printed with the Australian map and is said to mark the spot of Sneaker Pimps first location of there upcoming tour. LA ALIFE

Now for some of you readers that don't know about Alife I'm not here to tell you.l0l. But I am here to tell you one thing and one thing only. Alife, just a couple of weeks ago has opened there doors on the famous streetwear block in LA, Fairfax. Amongst other shops as Supreme, The Hundreds, Hall Of Fame and FCLA around the corner. But the question is what does the store appear to look like. Ive been around sites and blogs these past weeks and haven't found a thing. Well thanks to a buddy out in LA, we here at MASSIVE have a couple snapshots of the store front and display window. I love what they have done to this one and makes me excited my trip to San Fransisco isn't to far away. We also feature a limited T-Shirt by Alife only sold at the Los Angeles location.

BLACK AUGUST

Oh boy, yet another SBC adventure. This time we were headed to NOKIA THEATER in Times Square to see Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Dead Prez, DJ Evil-D, and DJ D nice. We motivated over to NY around 2pm and once we got there we decided to go down to SOHO and visit our usual spots. After 3 hours pass and seeing the same shit we came back to Times Square around 6pm. I swear the line to get in was around the whole block. We went all the way in the back but as soon as the doors opened at 7pm we were moving in no time. It was OK in the beginning, but as soon as D nice went on, man he killed it. They announced a special guest after Dead Prez performed.....COMMON. IT WAS A FUCKING INCREDIBLE SHOW. Mos killed in the end and Talib was great. Here are some pics to prove it.

ROTTEN APPLE

Well ladies and gents ..It is Friday and of coarse minutes after I cashed my check it goes to new york. The crew; Butch Cassidy and The Sun Dance Kid ,BACA and I, out to the train station and off. First out to Stussy to check out the head porter for a new pack for school then the usual bundle of new vandals at KidRobot. Despite my hate for supreme gear, while at Supreme I saw my newest favorite Vans Chukka I thought I'd never obtain. NAVY VANS W/TAPS CROSSBONES SYNDICATE CHUKKA 59's (after seeing the dude at union with them on I was tight until a mere few blocks away i bagged em). Long walks and plenty to drink from SugarHeadQuarters we crossed the usual spots. Down spring while I was yet amazed at SURR's awesone figure display then to 3rd. To the guy looking for tigers I hope you found ClassicKicks with my bad directions. I was lonely at recon while ALIFE was too busy,l0l. I did my thing with 2 new bentworlds vandals, new MAZE fat cap, and of coarse the Vans Chukka's. Baca finally copped a DQM tee and Gucci Starks laces.

NEW INK AND PAGES

After picking up the premier issue a couple months ago I came across the newest Fall out now. This magazine has to be one of the best Ive read in a long time. There on top of there wear and tear and even linked some info to me that I didn't already know. From tee shirts, jeans, watches, fitted caps, sneakers and way other accessories there feeding the mouths of street wearers everywhere. They can be seen and bought at local boutiques in your area, Packer Shoes (which they also are premiered in the newest issue), UNDFTD, Reedspace and many others. PACKER SHOES

For those who know me well know I'm an avid supporter of these cats and have always been. They were the only sneaker boutique out near Teaneck, New Jersey and contributed 100% to my collection. It all started in 8th grade were I already had a love for the nike dunk and was getting teased everyday in middle school from kids who would call them "Fake Air Forces" with "pillow tongues". I love how ironically all those kids have at least 3 pairs now and even though they are GR editions they love to call them SB's.l0l. But that is besides the point. One day after school me and the usual gang were walking home and while walking bumped into a guy in a jeep talking to another man leaning into his car. The guy asked us if we liked sneakers and if so what do we prefer. There was only one person I was with that knew the culture as well as I did, even better and to this day he is still into the culture and my team mate on NikeTalk. Us two were blurting out brands and styles while others shouted out the usual hype shoes in those days. He laughed and sighed while my fellow NT member noticed an Nike Air Jordan box laying beside him. He asked what was inside and after him repeating it was for his son he drew out a pair of white/black/red Air Jordan 9's. We were flabbergasted and he told us he soon will be opening a shop near the way and we should all stop by. A year later he did so and I've been a customer every since. After time I grew to know that man as Mike Packer and the other associates as well. They also have a store in Jersey city as well as a t-shirt line with there infamous picture of the Larry Bird and Julius Erving fight. New York State Of Mind

SO it is Friday ladies and gents and that means the check came and its time to spend. So Dre, Smurf, Peso, a I all met up at the spot threw down 10 each and (i don't have to say what happened next). We then lost one and motivated to NY where we had to get our tickets for the 10th annual Black August concert on 45th st. Headlining the concert is Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Dead Prez and Saigon with quest DJ Evil D, he also was at the rock steady anniversary show. After we copped tickets we headed to Harlem, NY to a spot we've been heard about but never came up upon. Atmos NY. The store front was so ill and the set up, VERY CHILL and welcoming. Dre copped the infamous Art Force One tee while I did my thing with Atmos lace locks. After it started to rain so we hoped on the $ to downtown where we did the usual Soho spots. Where at Recon Smurf copped his 325984095845th pair of dunks. And of coarse while there I couldn't believe my eyes, Tiffany was there in the most stunning outfit I have ever seen a woman wear. SHE DIDN'T SAY A DAMN THING TO ME but I had fun drooling. After a headache, Infinity DvD, New squeezes, and Rosie Perez at the same restaurant we've seen M.I.A at, that was a day in the life. Pics aren't uploading but when they do they'll be up.

In light of all the hype and news of the first round high top ALIFE puma's releasing this Saturday. Here are Alife's own RIFT's. 2007 Fall/Winter selection at ALIFE has started to roll into stores. Introducing the Everybody High and Low in several themes include the Estate Pack, Frog Pack, Back Pack, Perforate Pack and Infringement Pack. Described all by the good folks at hypebeast here's what they had to say.

"The Estate Pack features extensive Brogue perforations along the toebox and lace holes. The Frog Pack includes dotting seen on poisonous frogs common in exotic tropical locations. Well I'm pretty sure everyone knows about the ALIFE collaboration with Reebok pump with tennis ball material in classic highlighter yellow, orange and white. And how they were such a big hit in the streets and with Reebok pump fans that they sold out in minutes of release. Well I'm happy to bring not as good news as a re-release but another collaboration with ALIFE. The shoe this time, the classic high top Puma First Round, coming out this Saturday. Selling at ALIFE boutiques around the U.S and 6 other spots around the world such as Slammin Kicks (London), Patta (Amsterdam), Colette (Paris), Black Chamber (Singapore), Highs and Lows (Perth) and Provider (Melbourne). As you might have not known but guessed they are indeed limited and also can be matched with the ALIFE tee also releasing Saturday. These Puma's feature a custom woven label on the tongue, 4 different fluorescent patent leather stripes, custom footbeds and 10 pairs of laces - 5 thin and 5 thick.

White The New Black???

I hate to get all technical and all about politics but I thought this is something I should share. Well only considering no one in SBC is white its a sign of us on the come up. l0l. A Day In The Life of SBC

It all started with us meeting up with our boy Jose aka SMURF, then to the train station. Then we met with the "right" man and bought the "MASTER" and It was off to NY! lOl The picture speaks for itself. As soon as we got there Smurf and I were paranoid of cops but after making it to Lafayette it was all gone and we had bigger things to worry about. We first went to Alife were me and Smurf camped outside for someone 18 or older to buy us some krink, while BACA visited our friend at SugarHead. After a couple of attempts some BBC, Rocker chain wearing niggas from Harlem copped it for us. And did I mention BACA bought the illest ALIFE shirt in the store!! GET OFF ALIFE because this kids been on it folks, I wont even mention how deep his tee game is! Then to the usual spots around the L.E.S were I finally copped Gucci Starks laces and seen the girl of my dreams. We hauled ass to canal st. to Scrapyard were I also found out good news. They still sell the new Bent World Vandals that KidRobot is sold out of. After that we chilled at the Apple store were we searched random things on the computers and got kicked out! To sum the rest of the night up I met M.I.A, we waited for Kirsten Dunst outside of a movie scene, Got some stickers from SSUR himself, Found my holy grails at stackhouse, KidRobot got the neww 300mm Monger, and neither did I or Baca talk to the women of our dreams! Life Sucks but that's New York.

RECAP

This post is to recap all others with non answered questions or non confirmed info given. Starting with the Canvas AF1 which do indeed drop the 9th of this month but only in 3 colorways. The Navy, Maroon, and Grey are set to release and the Black and Tan are releasing later in the month. Followed by other releases the Nike Transformer Air Trainer 3 also is set to release the 9th as well at all Nike accounts. In news in vinyl the Bent World Vandal series is indeed sold out at KidRobot NYC but can also be ordered through there main site with registration. While visiting KidRobot for the release of the Vandals I also found out the JB Classics collaboration also comes out next week the third Friday of August. Mark your calenders for these dates because when there gone, THERE GONE!

Jordan Doing The Right Thing

With dunks and other Nike's taking the place of Jordan's on peoples feet this year some say Air Jordan is slacking and will never come back to its prime years. Although I do agree it will never be like it was there are a couple up and coming retro's and packages that will be hyped on in 08'. Well with that said you cant argue this is the start of his come back. Although I do know the line up for Jordan's these up coming months I will only speak on the one closet to the month we are in. The Air Jordan Aqua 8, releasing in September this is what Jordan fans have been waiting for. I too have been waiting for this release and am anticipated for the month of release. But if you cant wait that long and have the Gouda to spend early check out these spots for a pair NOW.

If We Were Only 4 years Older

Why is it me and Baca are so lucky with the gift of sight but never receive, l0l. It seems there is luck after all for us but with the women we seen yesterday it must be impossible. While posted up outside of CVS, yes CVS, we seen the most beautiful women in NEW JERSEY! I'm gassing it but we sure felt that way when gazing at them. The first was a young hot chick bumping "Lil weezyana" in her Honda accord but If she was to ever give me a chance Id take all that crap outta her. She walked out on her cell but not to fast just in time for Baca to snap a shot. The Last was a business type middle age women who looked like a mix of Vanessa Williams and Angelina Jolie. I'm so serious, when she got out the car my jaw dropped and she laughed at me while going in. After sending Baca in for a pic, he got the best shot I could hope for! After I lost the bet to ask for a picture with me she drove off in her white Mercedes. To where these two left off too I don't know but one day hope to see them again.

Crush Of The Month (COTM)-August

EVERY TIME SBC goes to the city we visit the usual shops and spots downtown. But when we go to RECON the GOD Jet can't control himself. Its either he sits down, watches her or he can't stand still. All for this girl, her name is TIFFANY, and I have to agree she is special, very pretty, the illest style, slim and slender, and them legs are killer. The thing I like the most about her is her big hair. Look at these pics and try to tell me otherwise.

Drop Of The Month (DOTM)-August

As this month we change into a new one it is only right to start off with August' drop of the month. Releasing August 9th, The Nike Canvas Air Force 1. Although there is rumors of a later drop and a JAPAN ONLY RELEASE it is worth listing. For a price tag of 160 these supreme air forces will be sold at quickstrike stored retailers only. I sure hope they don't sell like the canvas release a couple years back but if they do, expect to see them on sales rack and cop multiple pairs. Do your research and find out but If anything changes there will be a new post up saying so. Email us which is your favorite color...??

Toys,Toys,Toys,Toys

Well it seems other then sneaker collecting I've picked up a new hobby folks. While in the city a couple of days ago for the new Clientele tee and lace locks, I did my round trip visit to other spots in the area. My last stop was KidRobot and my main goal was finding out about the JB classic collaboration in August (see aNYthing post). After browsing fitted caps and hoodies I actually browsed the toy section thoroughly for the first time. I was gazed at the site of the figures, designs and box sets. Ive always had an eye for the figures but thought it would be too much out my pocket. After realizing sneaker collecting was denting my pockets more I decided to take it back up and bought a couple smoking mongers. I say back up because when I was young I collected, maybe not Mad, Dunny, or Munny's but WWF, Power Rangers and Transformers did the job. Today the Bent World Vandals series 1 comes out in NY and although I cant make it, I sure hope they will be there tomorrow when I can. In both new and old versions the series consist of 22 different designs and a Special Offer! Limited edition prints and pin packs available FREE with purchase at these select stores while supplies last. I wont list the stores because I want the limited prints but If you know then I suggest you get out there. Oh and pick a favorite because this series is blind box...you don't know what you got until opened!

So you all pretty much know about the concert and how much fun we had but if you ever been to a concert outside you know some of the consequences. Your legs falling asleep from standing too long, losing your voice, soar feet, getting shoved and pushed but besides that we had the rain to conquer too. Although me and Baca were not in grass in the beginning of the show we were by the end. I'm pretty sure you guys know rain/grass/heavy crowds/and fresh sneakers don't mix.
